NOVEMBER 17-20 | LOS CABOS
TRAVEL TIPS
Below are a few tips to help you enjoy your stay in Mexico
Time Zone
The time zone in Los Cabos is Mexican Pacific Standard Time, which will be aligned with Mountain Time in November. Click here to see the current local time.
What to Wear
Resort wear is a good choice for Nanosonics-hosted events (sundresses, linen pants, button-down/collared shirts, khaki shorts, etc.). Casual attire is recommended for the meeting.
All-Inclusive
Secrets is a luxury, all-inclusive resort, so all of your onsite meals and drinks are included. You may be asked to sign a “check” after each meal, but no charges will be posted to your room. The only extras not included are spa treatments, certain ultra-premium wines, and any tours or excursions you arrange through the hotel.
Tipping
Because Secrets is an all-inclusive resort, tips are not required but certainly appreciated for excellent service. You can’t add tips to your restaurant or bar bill (since it’s included), but you can leave cash. The front desk should be able to break large bills in USD.
Driving
Rental cars may be picked up from the airport. They drive on the right side of the road in Mexico (just like the US). Parking at the hotel is free of charge.
Cell Phone Service
Mexico is an international destination, so data used or calls made to or from Mexico are considered international. Please check with your cell phone service carrier about their international cell phone and data packages. Free wifi is available throughout the entire resort.
Electricity
All electrical plugs are the same as the US, so no adapters or converters are necessary.
